Album Review
Having heard a 'snippet' from this Scottish singer at a recent outdoor gig, I was intrigued enough to buy his first album on the day of it's release.
On first listen the album is, well, as expected. Colin MacLeod's vocals are fairly similar to most from his album's genre, with moments of Jack Johnson and I felt a slight resemblance to KT Tunstall, without the volume.
The album is, however, beautiful to listen to. Never altering from his target sound, MacLeod deliveries note perfect vocals and even some sing along choruses which are not easily forgotten.
A positive and seriously enjoyable first effort, I'm sure The Boy Who will have a large number of fans awaiting a second album very soon.
